Properties
ER-I is a whitening agent for polyester. It is non-toxic, odorless, non-ionic and soluble in most of organic solvents. Product Whitened by ER has a natural pure white appearance. Being stable in chemical properties and characterized by strong high-temperature resistance and light stability, ER is one of the most ideal whitening agents generally accepted internationally for polyester fiber.
Application
ER-I in the form of refined powder is very suitable for whitening and brightening polyester fiber by high temperature dyeing. And has good whitening effect on plastics such as PE, PP and PVC and their process of shaping with polyester chips or recovered polyester chiaps. In addition, the refined powder is widely used in coating industry.
Instructions:
Before spinning, remove the impurities in the polyester chips (materials), add the material to the crucible, raise the temperature to about 120°C, remove the moisture in the material by vacuum, then stop the vacuum and press the whitening powder. 150g-250g/ton (appropriate amount according to different whiteness requirements) added to the slice, fully mixed, so that the powder is evenly adsorbed on the surface of the material. Add appropriate amount of titanium dioxide if necessary. When toning is required, 2-5g of blue-violet dye (B12, etc.) can be added per ton of material, mixed with the whitening powder and added to the material to fully mix the surface of the adsorbent material, and then continue to increase the temperature by 240°C-280°C. Complete melting of whitening powder and polyester material, and finally directly into the wire drawing section.
